Margaret Brown is a dedicated leader in education and community service with over 20 years of experience in Cecil County Public Schools. She currently serves as an Assistant in Human Resources, where she leads onboarding, training, and support for over 600 support staff while also coordinating system-wide diversity initiatives.


Margaret holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from University of Maryland Baltimore County and a Master of Education in School Business Leadership from Wilkes University. Her career includes roles in research at University of Maryland, Baltimore and career services at Washington College.


A committed community advocate, Margaret is an active member of the NAACP, where she currently serves as Secretary and previously chaired the Education Committee. She was honored with the President’s Award in recognition of her leadership and service.


Margaret is passionate about empowering others and is committed to making a lasting impact in her community.
